I crafted these headbands for some of the gals to wear in my wedding. The first and third flowers are “Kanzashi” folded fabric flowers, and are really fun and easy to make. Kanzaski are hair ornaments used in traditional Japanese hairstyles. I learned how to make them from the book, Kanzashi In Bloom, by Diane Gilleland, but there tutorials online as well. There are different shapes and some are easier to make than others (but if you’re really interested in learning how to make them, buy the book. The videos online aren’t the highest quality, in my opinion). Below are just a few:
